Zoe Saldana announces premiere of 'Emilia Perez' for Cannes Film Festival

Zoe Saldana just revealed the upcoming plans of her forthcoming film, titled, Emilia Perez.

The Avatar star took to her official Instagram account to upload different posters featuring the cast of the film.

Beginning with Saldana herself, she can be seen posing with her back towards the camera, making an iconic hand gesture.

The other posters featured Selena Gomez, who would also be headlining the crime-comedy motion picture along with Saldana.

“Emilia Pérez, directed by Jacques Audiard, will premiere in Competition at Cannes Film Festival in May. Let’s go!!!!” the Guardians of the Galaxy actress captioned her post.

The 77th Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to be held from May 14 to May 25, 2024 with different films premiering at the even as per annual tradition.

Emilia Perez has been shortlisted to compete for the Palme d'Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where it is set to premiere.

This film is a comedic crime musical directed by Jacques Audiard with Karla Sofia Gascon starring as the protagonist, also named Emilia Perez. It is expected to be released on August 28, 2024.
