Oprah Winfrey shuns therapists in favour of best friend

Oprah Winfrey says she does not ever go to a therapist for help instead she says her reliable friend Gayle King is the first person on her speed dial for any kind of support.

In a chat with People, the popular talk show host said, "I've never been to a therapist because I had so many on the show, but my real therapy came from downloading whatever was happening in the day with Gayle every night."

Standing firm with each other through each other's thick and thin, Oprah said, "There wasn't a day that we missed being on some kind of phone call talking about what had happened in our days."

Gushing over Chris, the 70-year-old said, "I've had one of the best friendships anybody could have. And you can only do that when somebody cares as much about your success, your sadnesses, your triumphs as you do."
