President Zardari to speak on general election during Gari Khuda Bakhsh address
GARI KHUDA BAKHSH: President Asif Ali Zardari is expected to speak about the general election during his address on the fifth death anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

According to the expected key points of the address, President Zardari will speak about elections being held on time according to the constitution and not being delayed under any circumstance. The president will also mention that administrative mechanisms are in place to hold free and fair elections.

President Zardari will also speak on how the appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner was made with the consent of the opposition. The president’s address will emphasise on the independence of the Election Commission of Pakistan after the passage of the 18th amendment, along with the removal of fake votes from the voter lists.

The president will also mention how fake voting stations have been eliminated and whoever is successful in the next election will have the right to govern.
