The Girls Aloud interview turned into a heated discussion in the latest interview on a BBC radio show

During the latest episode of Scott Mills' Radio 2 show on Monday, Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, and Nicola Roberts were invited by the show host to talk about their upcoming reunion tour which is kicking off off in the UK in the next few months.

The BBC Radio 2 shared a video clip on its Instagram page from the interview showing how the discussion turned into a chaotic situation when Scott asked the bandmates if they would perform any new covers on the tour.

Nicola replied: "I don't think we've got space."

Cheryl added: "I've said it several times, people like it!"

Nadine disagreed however and explained: "I was dead against it. I'm like we've got so many songs of Girls Aloud as our own. Why do we need to be doing it?"

Cheryl insisted: "But we can add just one random cover, it's fun!"

Scot interrupted the heated discussion and said, "You join as there is a slight disagreement with Girls Aloud in between whether they should do covers or just the hits. We'll be back after this..."

While the bandmates continued talking over each other in the video, Scott added, "Girls Aloud are here and they're still discussing whether they're going to do a cover version or just their hits. Have we come to an agreement yet?"

Chery ignored the host and said, "I'm not saying we shouldn't be doing any," while Scott again interrupted and told Cheryl to point out her say.

Cheryl explained, “I think we should do all and... for the sake of three minutes more."

Scott asked, "But how long's the show? Five hours?" "Exactly!" Nadine exclaimed.

Scot chimed in and said, “We're going to have to raise hands again," putting an end to the chaotic talk.

Girls Aloud announced their reunion in November 2023.

The group revealed that they have no plans to release any new album however their main motive behind their reunion is to celebrate their back catalogue and late bandmate Sarah Harding, who died in September 2021.
