Did Kelly Osbourne use Ozempic like mother Sharon?

Kelly Osbourne broke her silence on reports that she used Ozempic, like her mother Sharon, after welcoming son Sidney in 2022.

The 39-year-old reality TV star, who lost 85 pounds drastically, told Extra in a new interview that her weight loss was prompted by gestational diabetes during pregnancy.

"I know everybody thinks I took Ozempic. I did not take Ozempic. I don't know where that came from. My mom took Ozempic," Kelly revealed.

She further shared that she “rapidly” lost the weight by cutting out “sugar and carbohydrates.”

“I had gestational diabetes, and I had to lose the weight that I had gained during pregnancy, otherwise I was at a higher risk of actually getting diabetes, which I did not want. I cut out sugar and carbohydrates and I rapidly lost weight," Kelly continued

She added, “I had the baby and my stomach got so many stretch marks, and the skin, it looks like it lost its elasticity”

Back in November, 2023, her musician mom, who lost 42 pounds with the controversial drug, expressed subtle regret over consuming it.

Sharon admitted that Ozempic left her "feeling nauseous the whole time" and shared her worry over the substance being in “the wrong hands.”

“I think it needs to be in the hands of older people that totally understand that there can be side effects to this. I don't want young girls to have it because in the world we live in today, everyone wants to be skinny,” she had said.
