Glenn Powell credits Sydney Sweeney for 'Anyone But You' success

Glen Powell is all praise for his Anyone But You co-star Sydney Sweeney.

In an interview with The New York Times, the 35-year-old actor praised the Euphoria star for how she pushed the movie’s marketing strategy to help it become a hit rom-com.

“The two things that you have to sell a rom-com are fun and chemistry. Sydney and I have a ton of fun together, and we have a ton of effortless chemistry. That’s people wanting what’s on the screen off the screen, and sometimes you just have to lean into it a bit — and it worked wonderfully. Sydney is very smart,” he spoke of Sydney who also served as an executive producer on the movie.

Following the success of Anyone But You, which raked $87 million in the U.S. and $191.2 million worldwide, Glenn has also previously hinted towards making another movie with the actress.

He told Variety that he and Sydney are going through a bunch of scripts to pick their next romantic comedy.

“When you find somebody that you really jive with, Sydney is so easy to work with and so fun. We’re definitely trying to find the next thing. Please send us all the scripts you got. You know we’re here for it,” Glen had said.
