Nisar terms PML-Q, MQM support for Qadri as ridiculous

ISLAMABAD: The Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Tuesday termed the backing of Tahirul Qadri's long march by Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) as a 'ridiculous drama'.

"The support to the (Tahirul Qadri's) long march is a worst example of opportunism," he said in a statement today.

He said MQM had been enjoying the benefits of being in government for the past decade. "Earlier, they served General Pervez Musharraf and later joined Zardari to reap the benefits of power," he added.

Accusing Imran Khan of being 'the fourth pillar of Musharraf', Chaudhry Nisar said the PTI Chief first supported Tahirul Qadri and then got confused.
