As the hush money trial continues, former United States president Donald Trump is busy coming in and out of court, The Daily Beast reported.
The former president has repeatedly made claims that his ongoing trial is creating hindrances to his presidential election campaign by preventing him from connecting with his voters.
However, the Republican candidate was seen golfing on his court day off at the Bedminster Golf Club. This comes after Democratic candidate and United States President Joe Biden claimed that Trump has no place to go.
Biden’s spokesperson Ammar Moussa blasted Trump’s decision to play instead of work.
"But, when your entire campaign is about enacting revenge and retribution for yourself and doing nothing to make Americans’ lives better, it makes sense you wouldn’t feel the need to actually speak to voters," he said.
Two days before his golfing, Trump, 77, had claimed that “I’m here instead of being able to be in Pennsylvania and Georgia and lots of other places campaigning, and it’s very unfair."
Moreover, Trump has also said that the hush money trial is an attempt at “election interference.”
Currently, the former president is facing 34 felony charges in a New York criminal case pertaining to a payment made to adult star Stormy Daniels.
