ISLAMABAD: A local court in Islamabad issued non-bailable arrest warrants on Friday for Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's sound-man DJ Butt for violation of Section 144 and the Amplifier Act during the party's sit-in in the federal capital last year.
Hearing the case today, judicial magistrate Waqas Rasheed issued non-bailable warrants for Butt for continuously remaining absent from court hearings and ordered authorities to present him in court on September 3.
The case was registered against Butt at the Secretariat Police Station in Islamabad last year.
