Jelly Roll celebrates daughter Bailee during Stagecoach performance

Jelly Roll celebrated his daughter, Bailee Ann DeFord’s pre-birthday in a way she just might never forget.

On Friday, April 26, the 39-year-old country music artist called his 15-year-old daughter on the stage during his Stagecoach performance to wish her a happy birthday.

The Son of a Sinner led the jam-packed crowd of the event in a sing-along to honour his daughter.

"In, like, 10 days, she will be 16 years old ... But hey, I figured it would be a really cool dad way to embarrass her if I can do the old 'Happy birthday to you,'" Jelly Roll stated as the spectators continued singing.

In the fan-recorded video, as the birthday wishes took place on stage with Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, the singer thanked the crowd for changing their lives and helping to "break generational curses."

While in another video posted on TikTok, the Need A Favor hit-maker said that even though his birthday surprise “might seem a little more corny," he "had to get cool dad points.”

“I took my daughter out of school today and I flew her to California for this show. Don’t tell her teacher,” Jelly Roll noted, adding a little humor to his explanation.
