Hugh Jackman shared a sweet tribute to friend Nicole Kidman as she received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute.
The Eyes Wide Shut actress received the honour on 27th of April, marking herself as the first Australian actress to receive this award.
Taking to Instagram stories, The Wolverine actor now reposted a photo of Kidman and applauded her for the big win.
He shared the tribute alongside the caption, “Massive congrats Nic!! So richly deserved”.
The A-listers are good friends having met in the 1980s. Jackman along with ex-wife Deborah-Lee Furness also helped Kidman after her divorce from Tom Cruise in 2001.
The two friends have also shared the screens together in 2006 animated musical comedy Happy Feet, 2008 romantic drama Australia and a period drama mini-series Faraway Downs.
As for the 56-year-old's big win, she had previously addressed the news of receiving the prestigious award during an interview with Stellar Magazine where she remarked it was a “blessing beyond my dreams” and confessed that this honour has left her ‘speechless’.
