Cher reveals why she likes dating younger men

Cher talked about her preference of younger men when it comes to her dating life.

The 77-year-old singer recently appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show where she talked about her taste in men amid relationship with 38-year-old music executive Alexander "AE" Edwards.

“I’m really shy when I’m not working and kind of shy around men. And the reason I go out with young men is because men my age or older — well now they’re all dead — but before they just never, they were always terrified to approach me and younger men were the only ones that are…” Cher trailed off.

Jennifer chimed in saying, “They’re bold,” to which the Believe hitmaker replied, “Yeah, raised by women like me!"

She also revealed why she turned down Elvis Presley.

“It was because I was nervous and I knew of the people around him and it wasn’t that they were bad people, it's just that I was kind of nervous of his reputation,” Cher replied.

Recently, an insider told OK! magazine that Cher is dating Alexander to “boost her ego.”

“She says she’s up on all the latest music and trends now because of him. Her ego has gotten a huge boost by having him on her arm,” the source claimed.
