Alec Baldwin revealed the only habit that he misses from his early life.

The American actor and comedian recently sat down for a confessional on the Our Way with Paul Anka and Skip Bronson podcast.

During this chat, Alec shared something which he rarely talked about and said, “I don't discuss this a lot.”

He then added, “I discuss it every now and then when it makes sense. 'I'm 39 years sober. I got sober Feb. 23, 1985.”

Alec also disclosed the timeline when he started smoking weed, which was reportedly common those days, and how he became addicted to the drug.

Recalling the time when he moved from New York to Los Angeles in 1983, he confessed, “I had a white-hot problem every day for two years.”

He also explained, “I think I snorted a line of cocaine from here to Saturn. Did one on the rings of Saturn, then we came home - we took it back home,” noting, “I mean, cocaine was like coffee back then. Everybody was doing it all day long.”

Later, Alec detailed that he was able to kick off the habit of smoking cocaine, but then alcoholism took over his life as he mentioned, “Because I stopped doing drugs, my drinking increased, which they tell you is going to happen. And that did happen. I just started drinking.'

Eventually, he got rid of drinking as well, but remarked in conclusion of this topic, “I don't miss drugs at all, but I do miss drinking. I like to drink.”
