Seven more killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Three bodies with torture marks and stuffed in gunny bags were found from three different areas while four other persons were gunned down and one wounded in different areas in Karachi on Friday.

A tortured body of a man, whose identity could not be ascertained, was found from Baldia number 2, in the limits of Baldia Police Station. The body of deceased was moved to Civil Hospital for postmortem.

Another tortured body of Muhammad Ali, 30, s/o Ramzan was found from Shaheen Hotel, Sher Shah in the limits of Sher Shah Police Station. The body of deceased was moved to Civil Hospital for postmortem. Police said deceased was kidnapped by unidentified culprits last night. He was resident of Lyari and had no affiliation with any political party.

Similarly, another tortured body of a man was found from Native Jetty flyover in the limits of Jakson Police Station. The body of deceased was moved to Civil Hospital for postmortem. The identity of victim could not be ascertained.

Later in the day, Naveedul Hassan s/o Saeedul Hassan, Akhter Hussain s/o Ahmad Sidique and Ashfaq were gunned down by culprits at Esa Nagri in the limits of Aziz Bhatti Police Station. The bodies were shifted to JPMC for postmortem.

In another firing incident Shan, 30, was gunned down and Rizwan was wounded by unidentified culprits in Baldia number 8, new Saeedabad near Bukhari Mosque in the limits of Baldia Town Police Station.

Deceased and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital for postmortem and medical treatment. (PPI)
