Karachi private schools to remain closed Monday

KARACHI: All the private schools will remain closed on Monday as a sign of solidarity with the victims of Quetta tragedy, Geo News reported.

According to the Private Schools Association, the above decision was made to express solidarity with victims of Quetta bombing incident.

The decision came amid countrywide protests, demanding dissolution of the Balochistan government and imposition of a governor's rule in the province.

It is pertinent to mention here that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Sunday observed a day of mourning in Karachi over the Quetta tragedy. All business activities remained halted and public transport off the roads throughout the day in the port city.
