QUETTA: The funeral prayers of the Quetta blast victims were held on Monday afternoon, following which they were laid to rest at the Bashit-e-Zainab graveyard.
Members of the Hazara community had refused to bury their loved ones and were staging a sit-in despite freezing cold temperatures.
Earlier on Monday, Yakjehti Council leader Qayyum Chengazi Hazara announced to end their sit-in following the imposition of Governor’s rule in Balochistan.
Prime Minister Ashraf while meeting with members of the Hazara community at the site of the sit-in announced that the government had invoked article 234 of the constitution and Governor’s rule had been imposed in Balochistan.
