Bride turns out to be man despite dating for one year

In a bizarre incident in Indonesia, a groom found out two weeks later that his bride was actually a man, despite dating for a year.

The couple connected with each other on social media platform Instagram, reported The Sun, and they even met in person.

Whenever the couple met, his spouse always wore a face cover that could not reveal her face.

The couple married in an intimate ceremony on April 12 at the age of 26 after his spouse told him that she had no family behind.

According to the South China Morning Post, whenever the groom tried to be intimate, his spouse refrained or said she was feeling unwell but after nearly two weeks, her groom suspected something.

The woman wore a niqab at home too, which increased the groom’s suspicions. The man found out that his wife’s parents were alive and was informed that his bride — identified as ESH — was actually a man.

The parents of ESH did not know their son was in a relationship. Afterwards, he was arrested.

The outlet reported that ESH married to stole the groom’s assets. He was put behind bars and facing fraud charges.
