Chief Engineer of SpaceX and CEO of Tesla Elon Musk has released new pictures of his company's most powerful rocket Starship which is to take Nasa astronauts to the moon, and humanity to Mars, eventually. 

The Texas-based company announced on its website Saturday that the fourth test flight is scheduled for June 6, but approval from the authorities is pending.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX has so far lifted off the 33-raptor-engine rocket three times, with the last one meeting a partial success for the company.

On Monday, the CEO of SpaceX released new images of Starship ahead of its fourth test flight, with a caption: "Starship is ready to fly."

Now June's test flight is just days away and as per Nasa's contract SpaceX is to take astronauts to the moon under the Artemis III programme. So far, according to CNBC, Nasa paid $1.8 billion out of $4.2 billion.

On its official account on X last month, Elon Musk’s firm posted a video of an all-powerful prepared ship, on its stack.

The FAA is probing the matter of ship failure. SpaceX also applied for the modification of the ship’s launch license but it is waiting for approval.

Earlier in May, SpaceX conducted a static fire of the Starship rocket at its Starbase.

The $180-billion-worth aerospace firm conducts such tests ahead of its test.

The 165-foot-tall (50 metres) Starship was constructed in 2019 and several of its prototypes have been.

According to SpaceX, the fourth lift-off will be aired live before 30 minutes of blastoff X @SpaceX.
