Two cops shot dead in Quetta

QUETTA: Unknown motorcyclists shot killed two policemen on Arbab Karam Khan road in the city on Tuesday.

Police sources said that unidentified armed men riding bike opened indiscriminate fire at a police mobile patrolling on Arbab Karam Khan road and managed to flee.

The two policemen riding the mobile vehicle sustained bullet wounds and succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital.

The dead identified as Ali Dad and Shah Mir were shifted to hospital for autopsy and later their bodies were handed over to the heirs.

The police have cordoned off the entire area to trace the suspects.
