Multiple social media accounts are circulating a video of a woman dancing to a song about former Prime Minister Imran Khan, adorned in the colours of his political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Online users falsely allege that the woman is the daughter of Supreme Court's Justice Athar Minallah.

Claim

On June 27, a user on X (formerly Twitter) posted a 34-second video showing a woman dancing to a song dedicated to Imran Khan, claiming her to be Justice Minallah's daughter and implying bias in the judge's court decisions favouring Khan.

The post has garnered over 1,000 reposts and 1,500 likes. The video has been widely shared by numerous other users.

Note: Geo Fact Check has chosen not to embed the video to protect the woman's identity, as the clip is being shared online without her consent.

Fact

The claim is unequivocally false.

Family members of Justice Minallah have confirmed that he does not have a daughter.

Speaking to Geo Fact Check anonymously, a close relative and another family member both affirmed that the judge does not have a daughter and the woman in the video was not related to Justice Minallah.
