ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government Polyclinic (FGPC) hospital has arranged Mehfil-e-Milad in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW) celebrations.
Addressing the participants, Executive Director Polyclinic Dr Shaukat Kiani said that entire life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was a source of great inspiration and guidance for the Muslims to follow and to succeed in their lives.
He said whole life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), is an open source of guidance for everyone and it is the wisdom and intelligence to seek guidance from the life of the Prophet (PBUH).
He said with collective efforts and joining hands, the Muslim Ummah could easily face all challenges and ensure progress and prosperity in their respective countries.
Incharge Mehfil-e-Milad Committee, FGPC, Dr Sharif Astori said that Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was sent by Allah for the entire mankind and universe.
He said that the Prophet (PBUH) brought the message of peace, love, compassion and humility and preached tolerance and understanding.
Addressing on the occasion, religious scholars urged the Muslim Ummah to get united in light of the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to face the challenges.
They said the problems of extremism and terrorism would also be tackled through unity among the Muslim Ummah. (APP)
