MULTAN: Parks and Horticulture Agency has completed 95 percent of renovation work at Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh (Fort Qasim).
Managing Director Parks and Horticulture Agency Javed Mehmood Bhutti in a statement on Monday said different parks and roads were being improved with an amount of Rs100 million.
He said an art gallery was also being introduced at historic "Damada" to show documentary about culture of Multan to visitors.
He added that widening of Chowk Ghanta Ghar, renovation of Masjidul Mazafar and Water Works road were important achievements of the district government.
About Parks and Horticulture Agency, he said a bill had been approved by Punjab Assembly and after notification a divisional headquarters authority would be set up.
He said maximum resources were being utilised to promote greenery in the city. Bhutti added that green belts had been prepared on old Bahawalpur Road, Bosan Road and Masoom Shah Road. (APP)
