NEW ORLEANS: Boxing legend Muhammad Ali has been admitted to a hospital in United States as brother of the former heavyweight champion fears Ali could be dead in days.
Ali celebrated his 71st birthday last month. He has been suffering from Parkinson disease for the last 30 years. It's a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system characterized by tremor and impaired muscular coordination.
Ali's brother Rahman Ali told a UK magazine that Ali’s condition has declined rapidly in recent days.
Ali had been suffering from dehydration and severe weakness after which he was admitted to a hospital in Arizona.
Fears for Muhammad Ali's health are growing after the boxer's brother suggested the legendary sportsman could be dead within days.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Ali's daughter Maryum Ali knocked down rumors of her father being near death, saying he was just fine and watching the Super Bowl at home.(APP)
