Breaching whale capsizes boat, throws two people overboard

A breaching whale, in the United States Tuesday, overturned a boat and threw two individuals into the water, BBC reported.

In a viral video, the vessel can be seen lifted by a humpback whale doing a 23-foot (7m) flip. Two people can be seen falling into the ocean as the huge mammal turns their boat upside down.

The footage was filmed by Colin Yanger, who says he was on a nearby boat whose occupants pulled the individuals to safety.

The US Coast Guard says no one sustained injuries, and it has reported the incident to the Center of Coastal Studies Marine Animal Hotline and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
