No match for Zardari in the field of politics: Rehman Malik

LAHORE: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that people would not accept any delay in general elections nor a caretaker setup with extended tenure.

Speaking to mediamen upon his arrival at Lahore airport, the Interior Minister said that there was no match for President Asif Ali Zardari when it comes to politics. He said Shahbaz Sharif should have received president on his arrival. However, he added, that Sharif’s visit to the Bilawal House would be welcomed.

Malik said nobody should be worrying about President Zardari’s arrival in Lahore.

He said government’s efforts forced Taliban to come to negotiating table, adding that there was no question of any guarantees for the talks as the process had not yet begun.
