Video of Rana Sanaullah enjoying boat ride in Paris goes viral

A video of Prime Minister's Adviser on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah went vial on social media which showed him enjoying a boat ride along with his wife in Paris.

The video surfaced on TikTok during Sanaullah's foreign visit to attend the 11th Commonwealth Sports Ministers Conference and the Paris Olympics.

As the video went viral, it drew criticism from his political opponents who criticised that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader for "enjoying family vacations" in Paris on taxpayers' money while he was sent to attend official events.

The PM's aide, who is also holding the portfolio of Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination, flew to the France capital on an official visit last month to attend the opening ceremony of the international multi-sports event along with the Pakistani athletes.

He had also represented the country in the 11 Commonwealth sports ministers’ huddle on July 24-25.

During his visit, the federal minister also attended the "Change The Game" Ministerial Forum at UNESCO and participated in the discussion focused on “leveraging quality physical education and sport for sustainable social legacies”, state broadcaster PTV reported.
