How many Pakistanis know prime minister's name?

20% of the citizens answer wrongly and 14% fail to tell who the country’s premier is

ISLAMABAD: A recent survey has revealed that every 65 out of 100 Pakistanis know name of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, The News reported.

The Gallup Pakistan survey involved over 700 participants from across the country. 

When asked name of the incumbent prime minister, 65 % of Pakistanis were aware of Shehbaz Sharif's name. 

Meanwhile, 20% of the citizens answered wrongly while 14% failed to tell who the country’s premier is, expressing lack of knowledge.

As per the survey, the majority of men were among those who said the name of the prime minister correctly, making it 71%, while the percentage of such women was 61%.

The survey revealed that more Pakistanis living in cities correctly identified the prime minister as compared to those living in rural areas.

About 63% in villages and 72% in cities correctly said the name of PM Shehbaz correctly.
