Imran Khan supports demand for army take over in Quetta
ISLAMABAD: Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan has supported the call for handing over Quetta to the army, saying that according to the constitution the army can be called in to control the law and order situation and put an end to terrorism.

While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Imran Khan said terrorists should be named and strong action should be demanded against them. Imran further added that the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi should know that their acts were terrorism and not Islamic.

Imran also said grave injustices were being carried out against the residents of Quetta and the Hazara community, adding that his party will carry out protests at all four headquarters to show solidarity with the Hazara community.

Speaking about the elections, Imran said the general elections were the solution to all problems, adding that those who wanted to delay the elections were enemies of the country.

Imran also called for the government to immediately announce compensation for the families of the Quetta tragedy victims.
