Bomb blast at Sharea Faisal; no casualties reported

KARACHI: A blast ripped through Sharea Faisal near Gora Qabrustan (Christians' Graveyard), however, no casualties have been reported in the incident.

The thunder of the blast was heard far across from the site of the blast where until this afternoon a sit-in was staged to protest the bomb blast in Quetta that killed 89 people belonging to Hazara community.

Police personnel and teams of rescue services have reached the spot where they are trying to keep off the passersby and onlookers as a precautionary measure to avoid any loss in case of a second blast.

According to police, the explosion left a two-foot deep crater on a side of the road under FTC flyover on Sharea Faisal.
