QUETTA: Families of the Kirani road blast victims have refused to end their sit-in and bury their loved ones until their demands were met.
Earlier Shia leaders had called for end to countrywide sit-ins after holding talks with the government. In a show of solidarity sit-ins are also continuing in Karachi, Lahore and other cities across the country.
Families of the victims say their sit-in will not end until demands which include the amry taking control of Quetta are not met. At least 89 people were killed in horrific bombing at a vegetable market in Kirani road on Saturday.
Families have been staging a sit-in alongside the bodies of the victims on Alamdar road in Quetta since Sunday.
