QUETTA: At least two suspects were killed during a pre-dawn raid by the Frontier Corps in Quetta’s suburbs.
According to reports, the FC launched a targeted operation in Nawan Killay area of the city, killing two suspects and arresting four others following an exchange of fire.
Four paramilitary soldiers were also injured in the shootout. Reports said heavy cache of arms and explosives has also bee recovered during the raid.
The government on Wednesday said that operation against terrorists would be taken to a logical end. The law enforcement agencies are conducting targeted operations after a deadly bombing in Hazara town that killed at least 89 people on Saturday.
