QUETTA: The Civil Aviation Authority radar set up at city’s Luckpas bypass ceased to function, causing problems for air traffic controllers.
Sources said on Saturday that the radar stopped working at 8:00 am after it developed a fault, leaving the air traffic from Europe and Far East out of sight.
According to reports, the radar provides services to as many as 500 airplanes, entering Pakistani airspace.
