Government should approve Hyderabad University bill on Monday: Sattar
KARACHI: MQM leader, Farooq Sattar said Sunday if the provincial government wanted to dismiss talks of a conspiracy to divide Sindh, the bill pertaining to the formation of a public sector university in Hyderabad should be approved on Monday.

While addressing a rally held in protest against the statement of Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq, Sattar said if the PPP failed to do so, the MQM would table the bill during the provincial assembly session. "If the PPP fails to approve the bill, protests across Sindh would continue."

The MQM leader added that the true face of the PPP had been exposed following the statement by Haq. “Representatives of the PPP want to see Sindh being kept in the darkness of illiteracy.”

According to Sattar, the statement of the provincial education minister was a conspiracy to divide Sindh. He added that people even in interior Sindh would reject these conspiracies and vote for MQM.
