QUETTA: Dozens of mud houses have been damaged in slum areas due to torrential rains started in the provincial capital on Monday and continue lashing on Tuesday.
According to the reports, two-day torrential rain has damaged dozens of mud houses in several slum localities of the metropolis including Sariab, Eastern Bypass, Kambrani road, Ghausabad, Sabzal road, Western Bypass, Brewery road, Kharotabad and others areas.
The district administration sources said that rescue work has been launched and teams to rescue affected people have reached the sites. No loss of life was reported, they said. (APP)
