Police recover liquor, arrest smuggler

PESHAWAR: The district police on Saturday foiled a liquor smuggling Police recover liquor and arrested the bootlegger in the jurisdiction of Hayatabad police station.

SHO, Hayatabad, Bashir Dad Khan told journalists that police signaled a suspicious car to stop near Jamrud check post and upon thorough search, recovered 72 bottles of imported liquor from the secret cavities of the car.

The smuggler, identified as Kamran Ullah was taken into custody and shifted to police station for further action. (APP)
