QUETTA: Families of about 90 percent victims of Alamdar Road and Bacha Khan Chowk tragedies have received the compensation amount, the provincial government announced following the blasts that took place in the second week of the current year.
Sources in the district Quetta administration told APP here Monday that the provincial government released the funds amounting to Rs120 million to the provincial capital administration for payment of compensation to families of over 100 killed and 200 injured of the blasts.
"Rs1 million have been paid to families of the killed, Rs0.5 million and Rs0.2 million to severely and lightly injured respectively", the sources said, adding that remaining families will soon receive the compensation amount. (APP)
