Malala's heartfelt birthday message for Asser

Nobel Peace Prize winner and women's education activist Malala Yousafzai took to social media to wish a happy birthday to her husband, Asser Malik.

The 27-year-old Nobel laureate wrote on Instagram: "Happy birthday @asser.malik love you to the moon and back."

"You bring so much happiness and joy to my life and everyone around you. Everything, even 'work', is so much more fun with you. You make me giggle [...] you help me look after myself [...] you motivate me to be ambitious and dream big [...] Happy birthday."

Malala and Asser had gotten married in Birmingham in November 2021. Her husband is the director of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans and founder of Mettle Cricket.

Asser had earlier performed responsibilities as the general manager high performance at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

He received his bachelor's degree in economics and political science in 2012 from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
