According to police, the victim identified as Muhammad Rafique was on way to the City when armed assailants riding a motorbike opened fire on him at Kachi Baig area near Seriab.
As a result, he died on the spot.
His body was handed over to the heirs after legal formalities.
Armed assailants managed to flee from the site after committing murder.
Police registered a case and started investigation. (APP)
