Kidnapped Balochistan Prosecutor General recovered

QUETTA: Kidnapped Prosecutor General of Balochistan Abdul Wasey Tareen has been recovered from Dara Band area of Dera Isameel Khan district, on Sunday early morning, official sources said.

He had gone missing since February 27 last from somewhere between Zhob and Dera Ismaeel Khan districts while traveling to Islamabad from Quetta in a private car.

The family sources of Tareen confirmed about his safe release and said that he had not yet reached home as the place where he had been kept hostage was some 500 kilometer off here.

To a query, they said tribal contacts resulted in his safe release.
