WhatsApp has released a new update which will allow users to react to messages using recently used emojis of a user.

WhatsApp often comes out with new updates and interactive features for the users and the iOS 24.21.10.80 update will allow beta testers to use recently used emojis directly from the reaction tray, making it easier and faster to respond with personalised reactions.

Instead of searching for specific emojis through the entire gallery, users can now choose their recently used emojis. The update is currently available for just a few users as it is in its beta stage and will be out for everyone soon.

Users can try to access the new feature by updating their application and see if they are some of the beta testers for it.

The social app is also putting out a new care emoji for chat messages and reactions. The emoji will be released in a future update and will be available for users within the reaction tray.

The emoji represents “hugging” a heart, expressing care and love for the recipient.

During the times of the COVID virus, a similar emoji was introduced on Facebook known as the “care” emoji. On the site, it is also available as a reaction on posts for users to express support for others.
