Dancing with the Stars host Julianne Hough threw shade at Anna Delvey during the season 33 finale of the show on Tuesday night.

Delvey, the convicted con artist whose life story inspired Netflix’s Inventing Anna, returned to the ballroom with her partner, Ezra Soza, after being the first contestant eliminated earlier in the season.

According to Daily Mail, the duo performed alongside Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkob to Whitney Houston’s iconic “I have Nothing” referencing Delvey’s viral comment following her elimination when she quipped that she was taking away “nothing” from her time on the show.

Moreover, the fake German heiress was carried onto the stage for the performance, lip-syncing to the song while wearing her ankle monitor.

As per the outlet, Delvey was convicted in 2019 of eight felony counts, including grand larceny and was released from prison in 2021.

Meanwhile, she has been fighting to Germany and a judge allowed her to wear an ankle bracelet as a condition of competing on season 33 of DWTS.

Following the routine, Hough looked directly into the camera and mimicked Delvey’s infamous line by saying, “You know, I’ve got nothing,” as Delvey responded with an awkward smile and Soza teasingly wagged his finger.

As per the publication, Delvey and Spelling were eliminated during the Oscars Night episode earlier this season.

Additionally, during her departure, Delvey had caused a stir with her blunt response when Hough asked what she had gained from the competition.

In this regard, Delvey said with a small laugh, “Nothing” There you have it, Absolutely nothing,” prompting Hough to retort.

In her elimination episode, Delvey had admitted to feeling upset after reading negative online comments, despite initially enjoying the experience as she added, “I’m used to people feeling negatively about me. I get upset for a short moment of time, but then I just move on.”
