Chase Stokes plays an attractive and rebellious tattoo artist named Rule in Marked Men: Rule & Shaw.
Stokes' character Rule is serious about his work and doesn’t want to get into a relationship. However, his childhood friend Shaw (Sydney Taylor) has always had feelings for him and manages to seduce him. Rule reluctantly gets into a relationship with her and the duo face tons of drama.
The Synopsis reads: “Shaw, a pre-med student, has loved Rule, a rebellious tattoo artist, for years, though he’s only ever seen her as a family friend. After one uninhibited night, they’re forced to confront buried feelings while navigating grief, family expectations, and fear of commitment—testing whether love between two people from such different worlds can truly survive."
Marked Men: Rule & Shaw is directed by Nick Cassavetes, who also helmed Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams' iconic 2004 romance The Notebook.
Stokes made a name for himself through Netflix’s Outer Banks, which was renewed for a fifth and last season recently. Speaking about the show in September, he told People: "You can't slap the hand that fed you. You can't discredit or disrespect the thing that gave you not just the opportunity, but the ability to live a life that I never thought was possible."
