Prince Harry reportedly begged the Royal Family to delay the announcement of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing for a pivotal reason.

The Duke of Sussex, who was in the UK at the time of Her Majesty’s demise, was flying in the plane when the tragedy occurred.

Royal author Omid Scobie in his book ‘The Endgame’ reveals: "When Harry’s plane finally touched tarmac twenty minutes later, he received a text from Meghan urging him to call ASAP followed by a breaking news alert via the BBC News app with the announcement of the Queen’s death."

However, the spokesman of King Charles later said in a statement: "The public was only informed after every family member had been informed."

Prince Harry left the Royal Family back in 2020 alongside wife Meghan Markle and son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of showcasing racism towards their son and publicly shared their grievances on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
