Khalid breaks silence on his ex's 'wild' accusations

Khalid has finally broken his silence on the accusations made by his ex-beau named Hugo D. Almonte.

The Favorite Song crooner, according to US Today, denied the allegations by a man who used to date Khalid "four to five years ago".

While responding to his ex’s claims, the 26-year-old singer took to X (formally known as Twitter) and posted a 4-minute long video in which he shared his side of the story.

Khalid began, “I know I don’t have to. But I feel like it’s important that I speak my side of the situation.”

He went on to say, “I have never done cocaine a day in my life. I don’t place myself in those scenarios. I’m not in those surroundings. I smoke weed. And I drink a little bit.”

“But, I’ve never done cocaine a day in my life. For real. I’ve never paid for s*x a day in my life, Khalid claimed, adding, “I’ve never paid anyone to date me. I’ve never paid anybody to be in a relationship with me.”

“I am honestly trying to watch my tone right now,” the Young Dumb & Broke hitmaker said, adding that the last time he talked to his ex was four years ago.

“This is all random. I don’t know why he did it. I don’t know what’s going on with him. Mental health is real. I haven’t even had a conversation or seen this dude in four years,” the singer continued to explain.

“I have never accused anybody publicly of breaking into my house. Where is this coming from? Regarding the stories of abuse, it’s triggering because it is the other way around. I don’t need a publicity stunt for attention. It’s not my vibe,” he added.

He further noted, “I am not gonna run around like I am the best guy in the world. All of this is definitely frustrating. I don’t like this. This is very bothersome.” (sic)

Khalid’s ex-boyfriend Hugo D. Almonte earlier this week accused the singer of breaking into his home.

He also shared a now-deleted selfie with Khalid, along with additional claims regarding his wild behaviour.

Almonte also claimed that Khalid pays for s**, "engages in hard party drugs, and other things".
