Elton John left utterly bereft after latest blow: Source

Elton John reportedly feels that he has lost his “touch.”

According to the latest findings of Radaronline.com, the legendary musician has been left "bereft" after his new $25m Broadway musical received rave reviews by critics.

A source close to the crooner shared that he has confessed to pals that he fears he's "lost his touch" at the age of 77.

"Elton is utterly bereft,” the source began.

The insider went on to add, “He feels like he's somehow lost his touch and is wondering if he'll ever compose another theaterland winner.”

This comes after the singer admitted during an appearance Good Morning America that he is currently unable to work on new music due to limitations of his vision.

"It’s been a while since I’ve done anything. I just have to get off my backside,” the 77-year-old told the outlet of his eye infection which began in September.

The Can You Feel The Love Tonight hitmaker continued, “I unfortunately lost my eyesight in my right eye in July because I had an infection in the South of France.”

“It’s been four months now since I haven’t been able to see. My left eye is not the greatest,” Sir Elton added.
