King Charles has made a shocking move to ease ongoing tensions with his younger brother, Prince Andrew.

Following months of strained relationship surrounding Duke of York’s living situation in the Royal Lodge, Charles has offered an olive branch to Andrew.

King Charles has reportedly invited Andrew to join the royal family Sandringham for their annual Christmas celebration.

Insiders have revealed that Charles is determined to unite the family during festive season, Mirror reported.

“The King is embracing the Christmas period already and really getting into the spirit. Staff who have seen him this week remarked how happy and healthy he was looking,” source shared.

After a year marked by challenges due to Charles and Kate Middleton’s cancer, the royal family is now looking forward to reuniting this Christmas.

“His Majesty has taken great solace in being among nature and enjoying time outdoors throughout his cancer treatment. It's something he believes has helped him incredibly throughout his ordeal. He is very much looking forward to spending quality time with as many of his close family as possible,” a source also shared.

It is worth mentioning that the Prince and Princess of Wales along with their children are confirmed to attend the Christmas gathering.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and their two children, Lady Louise, 20 and James, Earl of Wessex, 16, are also expected to join.
