Kate Beckinsale pays tribute to late stepfather Roy on Thanksgiving

Actress Kate Beckinsale shared an emotional Thanksgiving post on Instagram, mourning the loss of her stepfather Roy Battersby and her cat Clive.

In a video uploaded on Thursday, she appeared to hold a vigil in her hallway, expressing gratitude for the loved ones she has cherished and lost.

She captioned the video, “Gratitude for the mighty men, both two and four-legged, I have loved and been loved by, all of whom I watched die."

According to Daily Mail, Beckinsale encouraged viewers to acknowledge Thanksgiving to find gratitude for life’s fleeting joys.

She wrote, “Don’t feel bad if Thanksgiving makes you more aware of what you have lost and fear losing.”

Moreover, in July, Beckinsale revealed her struggles with grief and stress following her stepfather’s passing and her mother Judy Loe’s stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

She also addressed her dramatic weight loss, attributing it to emotional ad physical tolls that led to a six-week hospital stay.

The actress has consistently spoken about finding strength in honoring loved ones who have passed away.
