Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy makes first appearance since singer's funeral

Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy was seen in a grieving state during her first-ever appearance after the funeral of the late singer.

According to Mirror, Kate looked "sombre" as she headed out in London days after the former One Direction singer was laid to rest.

The 25-year-old was seen grabbing a coffee donning a large white coat and a pair of dark jogging trousers.

As per publication, Kate was seen appearing tearful as she reflected while grabbing a pastry snack.

Her public appearance comes days after Liam was laid to rest in Buckinghamshire, England on November 20.

The 31-year-old singer tragically died on October 16 after falling from a third floor balcony in a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Apart from Kate, Liam's former bandmates including Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik were at the service to say their final goodbyes.

Since his passing, three people have been charged for his death.

Moreover, a post-mortem revealed that he died from multiple traumas leading to an "internal and external haemorrhage".

A toxicology report also claimed that the former band member had anti-depressants and cocaine in his system at the time of his death – despite having been clean from drugs just days before.
