As he dropped his sixth and unannounced studio album, GNX, on November 22, it has already secured the top position on Official Charts’ number one album.
GNX marks the Pulitzer Prize winning artists’ second chart-topper in the UK after 2015’s To Pimp A Butterfly.

Two of his projects that landed on the second spot in their own times are 2017’s Damn. and 2022’s Mr Morale & The Big Steppers.
After a rather neck-to-neck battle, as per the Official Charts, the Mercury Prize winner, Michael Kiwanuka lands at number two with Small Changes, marking his fourth Top 5 album of the outlet.
Michael Kiwanuka has also had his own set of Top 5 works, with his 2012's debut album, Home Again securing the fourth spot, 2016’s Love and Hate that topped the chart and 2020’s Mercury Prize winner Kiwanuka, landing the second slot.
