King Charles knows his reign 'will be up soon'

King Charles, who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, knows his reign ‘will be up soon’, a royal insider has claimed.

According to a report by The Telegraph, per Us Weekly, the source says “His [King Charles] older age is getting to him, and he’s not snapping back as quickly as Catherine did.”

The insider went on saying, “For the most part, Charles is doing well. But there are still some concerns, and he knows his reign will be up soon.”

King Charles elder son and heir to throne Prince William is essentially waiting in the wings.

The source claimed, “William and Kate have been preparing for this for many years.”

Another source told the outlet, Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, who confirmed she has completed her chemotherapy, is “realistic and supportive of William’s future.”

“They both feel comfortable stepping into greater roles — and [are confident] William can provide a modern way of ruling that everyone will see as a breath of fresh air,” another source claimed.

However, Queen Camilla wants King Charles to hold on to the reins for as long as possible.
